Bishop Montgomery Retreat Center

Torrance, California

Located on a high point of the campus, the Retreat Center opens to a park like setting. A simple one room space, the Center is adjacent and at the same time, somewhat removed from the daily activity of the high school.

To open up this site, an existing Friary was demolished. Much of the mature landscape, however, was retained.
